THIRTEEN HAD NAMES STARTING WITH "L" - McCartney-Roberts Reunion Saturday

A large number of folks gathered for the event, which includes an auction and talent show The "Booger Hole Queen" Carol Kelley holds her slightly altered photo shoot Bill Shock returns to food table for episode #2 or was it #3 Descendants of Tunis Frederick and Opal McCartney Roberts had their annual reunion Saturday at Calhoun County Park. Tunis Roberts had 13 children, all with names starting with the letter "L." A large number of folks gathered for the event, which includes an auction and talent show. Most of the clan grew up around Henrietta, best known to Calhouner's as Booger Hole. Calhoun's Booger Hole is located on Route 5 about four miles east of Grantsville. Not pictured is Lynollis Roberts of Cleveland Ohio, all surviving children of Tunis and Opal McCartney Roberts Opal McCartney Roberts was the oldest of the children born to Sylvanus and Emma Divers McCartney. After Emma passed away, Sylvanus married Alice Goff and they had 12 children, which makes 19 in all. There are eight of the McCartney family children still living.
