OHIO AUTHORITIES CONTINUE DEATH INVESTIGATION - Wirt Man Died From Head Trauma

Authorities in Washington County, Ohio are reviewing the death of a Palestine, Wirt County man, who died July 9th of a head injury after being struck by another man. Twenty-seven-year-old Leo M. Pettry died of "blunt force trauma" after his head hit the pavement, having taken a punch in the face. Pettry reportedly returned to a Belpre, Ohio residence to apologize to a man for an earlier encounter, when that man apparently continued the dispute. Belpre, Ohio police have turned the investigation over to county authorities.
