MHHCC DEDICATED TO KEEPING COMMUNITIES HEALTHY - National Health Center Week

Every year a week is set aside to honor community health centers.

In maintaining this tradition, MHHCC will join in recognizing August 8-14, 2004 as National Health Center week. "Keeping Communities Healthy" is the theme this year and MHHCC is proud to dedicate this week to our providers who give so much of their time and effort to ensure that Calhoun and Gilmer counties are healthy communities.

MHHCC is asking that anyone who comes into the facility, whatever the reason, please take a moment to stop and thank those who provide such a high quality of care to our citizens. MHHCC has been blessed with a variety of specialties, including emergency care, osteopathic medicine, dentistry, pediatrics, internal medicine and alternative medicine.

Throughout the week, we will be recognizing staff at MHHCC, Calhoun Dental/Medical Clinic and Gilmer Primary Care. Displays will be set up at the various sites with the provider's picture and quotes from patients and fellow staff.

Please feel free to stop by and view these displays throughout the week. Please remember, the next time you see your provider (doctor, physician assistant or family practitioner) just say "thank-you" and let them know they are appreciated.
