David Elliot Stevens, 65, of Ripley, formerly of Grantsville

David Elliot Stevens,65, was born June 3, 1939 on Pine Creek. He died July 17, 2004 at his home in Ripley following a long illness.

He was formerly married to Kathy Mace Stevens.

He is survived by daughter,Meredith Stevens Koontz and three grandsons,Isaac, Ethan,and Eli.

Survived by a brother, William (Bill) Russell Stevens, Jr., sisters Lurland B. Starcher and Linda J. Harris, all of Grantsville.

He served in the United States Army. Worked for Hope Natural Gas Company,Carl Kelly Paving and Grantsville Garage.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Russell and Myrla Marie Conrad Stevens, brothers Thomas Howard Stevens, Corry PA. Robert Paul Stevens,Sand Fork, WV.

At his request he is being cremated.

Friends and family may pay their respects Thursday, July 22, 6-8:30 pm at Goldtown Community Church, Goldtown,W.V.

Please omit flowers. Feel free to donate to your favorite charity in his name.
