Family and friends enjoyed "4th of July" outing
Staff Sgt. John Nicholas was the guest of honor at a family gathering on Bear
Run near Orma on the 4th of July.
Nicholas, son of Wesley and Bobbie Nicholas, has been on recent tour-of-duties
in Korea, Afghanistan and Iraq and is currently stationed in North Carolina.
Sgt. Nicholas, who has been awarded a Bronze Star, is a career solider having
been in the military over 15 years.
Family and friends enjoyed a traditional summer get-together. His mom also
celebrated her birthday.
