Ernest Glen Ferrell, 89 - Parkersburg

Ernest Glen Ferrell, age 89 of Parkersburg, West Virginia, died on the 2nd. day of July, 2004, following a recent illness.

He was the last surviving child of the late Oak and Clara Ferrell. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Kelly Ferrell, a stepdaughter, JoAnn Molessa and a stepson, John Kelly.

He was born in Grantsville, West Virginia on April 16, 1915. He left Grantsville to serve with the United States Army during WW II.

After completing his service in the military, he became a resident of Charleston, WV. He was a long time member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He was employed for a period of 33 years at the Libby Owens Ford Plant located in Kanawha City, WV.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lucille Young Ferrell in 1986.

He was a loving husband and will be greatly missed by his family.

Visitation will be at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville, Saturday, July 3 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be at the funeral home, Sunday, July 4 at 11 a.m. Rev. Carroll McCauley will officiate. Interment will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
