CAR LANDS IN BIG ROOT CREEK UPSIDE DOWN - Three Taken To Hospital

A Chevy car spun out of control on Big Root Road about 7 p.m., struck the embankment, went back across the highway and landed upside down in the creek bed.

Reports from the scene said three females, the driver and two passengers , were taken to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center for treatment and evaluation.

They were out of the vehicle when Calhoun EMS and the Grantsville VFD arrived.

Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center dispatched an ambulance to the wreck scene.

The vehicle went over the hill about one-half mile off State Route 5.
