CALHOUN TOURIST ATTRACTION INFORMATION NEEDED - Events To Hiking Trails

As part of a regional tourism initiative, Calhoun County has been asked to inventory its tourism assets. The Little Kanawha Area Development Corporation (LKADC) is working to gather this information.

A tourism inventory form is available at the following locations: Calhoun County Public Library, Calhoun County Clerk's Office, Baker's Mart, Calhoun Banks and Stinson Grocery.

If you are involved in a tourism-related activity, please fill out an inventory form. Locations to mail or drop off the inventory are included on the form. (If you are unsure whether someone else will fill out a form about an event or activity, please go ahead and fill one out so that nothing gets missed).

The types of activities that need to be inventoried include historic sites, museums, artisan demonstrations, cultural facilities, unique shops, fishing areas, hunting areas, golf courses, hiking trails, biking trails, parks, fairs/festivals, concerts, road runs and other athletic events.

If you have any questions, feel free to call the LKADC at 354-7797.
