RELAY FOR LIFE WAS A CELEBRATION

(06/12/2004)
Calhoun's in-county Relay for Life, slightly dampened by the weather, concluded at 6 a.m. Saturday morning.

The large event went on as usual, lasting through the night.

The full of life fighters against cancer came to Calhoun Middle-High School Friday evening, moving the event from rain-soaked Wayne Underwood Field.

The Luminaries were lit in memory and honor of loved ones and friends who have had cancer.

This "celebration of life" brings the Calhoun County community together in a unified effort to fight cancer.
