Elmer R. Dalby , 50, died suddenly on April 16,
2001, at his home in Alpharetta, GA.
He was a
1975 graduate of the West Virginia University
School of Pharmacy and was currently employed by
Wellstar Health Services at Cobb Hospital in
Atlanta, Georgia, and by Sun Factors, a division
of Sun Healthcare. Mr. Dalby had experience as a
pharmacist, a pharmacy manager, an information
systems manager, and a computer applications
developer in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and
Georgia. In addition, he was a member of MENSA
and of Grace United Methodist Church of Fort
Spring, WV.
Mr. Dalby grew up in Bridgeville, PA, where his
mother, Alverna Dalby, still resides. He is
also survived by: his wife, Mary Kay Ball
Dalby (formerly of Grantsville, WV); a brother and sister-in-law, Gary and
Carol Dalby, and their sons, Nicholas and
Christopher, of Knoxville, TN.
He was preceded
in death by his father Elmer K. Dalby.
A memorial service is planned for 1:00 p.m.
Saturday, April 21 at the cabana at Fox Creek in
Alpharetta. In lieu of flowers, donations to St.
Judes Childrens Hospital or to the Atlanta
Homeless Shelter will be appreciated.
