CALHOUN HIGH STUDENTS GET $750,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS

Calhoun High School had 103 graduating seniors, and about seventy of the graduates have indicated they intend to continue their education at a four-year college or two year trade school, according to principal Mike Offutt.

At least one student is entering the military, and 35 plan to directly enter the workforce, he said.

Thirty-five seniors have received scholarship money, this year valued over $750,000.
