Born in Massillon, Ohio, he was a son of Alvin L. and Deborah Dobbins Parsons of Orma.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Jennifer Young Parsons and a son, Isiah Lee Parsons; one brother, Shawn Lee Parsons and Emily of Orma; maternal grandparents, Tom and Dorma Ewing of Minnora; paternal grandparents, Paul and Garnet Parsons of Arnoldsburg; his mother and father in law, Willie and Janice Young of Spencer; and niece Kaylee Marie Parsons.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 3 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. Richard Westfall will officiate. Interment will be in the Minnora Cemetery at Minnora.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening.
