SLIDE CLOSES HENRY'S FORK ROAD

Henry's Fork Road was closed for several hours following a massive mudslide which fell on the narrow roadway. The road runs along the creek from U.S. 33-119 at Corder Bridge to Rocksdale, and is frequently traveled by Calhoun residents going to Spencer. DOH road crews had the roadway cleared by Friday afternoon. The slide started high against the steep hillside, sending tons of rock, dirt and trees to the road.
