BOYD D. STARCHER (04/20/2001) Boyd D. Starcher, 78, of Seth, Boone County, WV, died Tuesday, April 17th. at Charleston Area Medical Center, Charleston, WV. Born in Calhoun County, WV, he was the son of the late Albert and Della Gibson Starcher. Mr. Starcher was retired from Consolidated Natural Gas Company, was a member of the Knights of Pythias at Cremo, WV and was a Methodist by faith. Surviving are two brothers, Bobby Starcher of Mt. Zion, WV and Bruce Starcher of of Madison, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Berthel and Bethel Starcher and a sister, Mildred Atkinson. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 21, 2 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, WV. Reverend Herald Duskey will officiate. Interment will be in the Mt. Olive (Hur) Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon Saturday until the time of the service.
