| A former state senator from Clay County has taken a turn for the worse, after a period of improvement.
He was injured in an ATV accident two weekends ago.
Randy Schoonover, 50, remains in the intensive care unit in a Charleston hospital and reports say he is not "out of the woods." Last Friday evening he reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest, and a second arrest on Monday.
He was trapped for 30 hours under his ATV.
Physicians amputated Schoonover's left arm above the elbow, and he had been on a ventilator and was being given kidney dialysis.
