CALHOUN HIGH'S ALUMNI TO GATHER - Alumni Day July 3rd, Register Before June 26th

Calhoun County High School Alumni Day is coming July 3. The event brings a large number of graduates back to their school roots. The event will be held at Calhoun Middle-High School with registration from 9 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. The special program will be at 11:30 a.m. in the auditorium. Classes honored this year, 1944, 1949, 1954 and 1959. Ila Grey Snider, president of the alumni group, says they need speakers from these classes for the program. Snider says volunteers are needed to help with the event. The Alumni Scholarship will be announced. Luncheon will be served at 12:30 p.m., followed by mini-reunions and tours of the school building. Classes wanting to reserve a room for an alumni mini-reunion should call 304-354-6148, extension 11. Registration will be $12 per person, by June 26th.
