| The Calhoun County Band Boosters is sponsoring the 1st
Annual 20-mile Bandathon this Saturday.
The public is welcome to encourage the runners alsong the course, including bandmaster Harry Beall.
The run will begin at 6 am
at the mouth of Barnes' Run and continue to
Adam Altizer Road, the right fork of Daniel's Run, down Sycamore
and ending at the Calhoun County Park between 11 am and 12
noon.
At the completion of the race there will be Band
Booster hot dogs and everyone is encouraged to bring
a covered dish.
This may be a chance to see Harry Beall
crawl across the finish line. Beall said "I've
been practicing for the event, getting in shape."
The event is to raise money for the Middle-High
School Band.
