Thomas B. Owens, 93 - Dearborn, Michigan (05/13/2004) Thomas B. Owens, 93, of Dearborn, Michigan, passed away May 11, 2004 in Taylor, Michigan. Born in Doddridge County, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Wesley and Georgia McKinney Owens. He was a retired welder. He was a member of Eureka Lodge #40, A.F.&A.M. of Grantsville, WV and the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local #565 in Parkersburg. Surviving are a son, David Owens of Dearborn and a daughter, Marillyn Sheere of Florida; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded by two brothers, Wesley Owens, Jr. and Howard Owens, and one sister, Mable Poling. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 15 at 11 a.m. at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Jim Skedel will officiate. Interment will be in the Freeman Cemetery at West Union, with Masonic Graveside Rites. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.
