BOHN COMMITTED TO ANTHONY CENTER - Cases Set For Jury Trial

A previous one year sentence to Central Regional Jail has been suspended against Joshua David Bohn of Grantsville. Instead Bohn has been committed to the Anthony Center for Youthful Offenders by Judge Thomas C. Evans III.

The change was issued Monday in Calhoun Circuit Court, which has ordered his stay to be not less than six months nor more than two years. He was represented by attorney Drew Patton.

Suppression hearings were held Monday for David Scott Arthur of Creston and Jerry Scott Wagoner of Grantsville on drug-related charges. The pair will have preliminary hearings on August 13th, followed by jury trials on August 21st.

Drug-related charges against James A. Christman and Shelly Sue Burrows have been moved into a plea bargain session scheduled for May 2.

Teddy Lewis Moss will stand for sentencing on sexual abuse charges on May 11th.

Judge Evans heard a motion to reduce bond for Justin James Snider of Arnoldsburg. Bond was reduced from $50,000 to $25,000. Snider is charged with forgery and uttering.

There was no activity in a civil case, Richard M. Horsley vs. Kenneth Keaton, Minnora IOOF and others.

Attorney John Oshoway is preparing a scheduling order in a civil suit, James Michael Pierson vs. Reed Krack, which involves Krack stopping payment of a $5,067 check to Pierson for work he claims was unsatisfactory.

In another civil case, there was an "agreement order submitted" in a suit, Wiley and Victoria Dorsey and Robert Caim, a right-of-way dispute.

Kelly Ann Mace of Chloe will stand trial for drug-related charges on September 11th, following pre-trial conferences on September 4th.

Gary Dale Goodrich will stand trail on May 3rd on alcohol-related offenses.

A criminal backround check has been ordered for Gregory Allen Harrison of Rosedale, who has two charges for conspiracy, two charges for breaking and entering and a grand larceny charge.
