John R. Rogers, 61 - Mooresville, NC (05/01/2004) John R. Rogers, 63, of Mooresville, North Carolina, died quietly, April 29, 2004 at Carolina Medical Center with family and friends at his side. He was born January 7, 1943, in Barberton, Ohio, the son of the late Emery "Pete" and Lorraine "Brooke" Riddel Rogers of Grantsville, West Virginia. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Judy Constance Browning Rogers; three children, Kimberly Butler, Melinda Smith and John Wesley Rogers all of Mooresville; six grandchildren, Joshua, Alayna, Savannah, Jacob, Cole and Hiley; brother, Sam Rogers of Falls Church, Virginia; and sister, Pamela Morgan of Blythewood, South Carolina. The family will receive visitors from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 2, at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville, WV. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. with burial following in the Bethlehem Cemetery, Grantsville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lake Norman Dialysis Center, 164 Professional Park Drive, Mooresville, North Carolina 28117
