BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL WRAPS TONIGHT

Bluegrass music has been a staple at the Upper West Fork Park on most Saturday nights. The UWFP Bluegrass Festival will conclude today.

The festival grounds got a dose of West Fork water Thursday night and Friday morning, and campers had to be towed from the camping area.

The show went on as scheduled last night, a a full days festivities will continue today, late into Saturday night.

A shelter is now available for the audience to enjoy the musicians, rain or shine.

A dozen or more regional bluegrass groups have been performing with the bargain all-day admission of three bucks.

Among the bands appearing, 23 Special, Green Mountain Boys, Killbuck Valley, Big Otter Bluegrass, Denny Dobbins and Friends, Muddy River, Elk Valley Bluegrass, Country Mix and the Spirits of Bluegrass.

The event is a fundraiser for the park.
