TUITIONS RISING IN WEST VIRGINIA

(04/24/2004)
College tuition is up, the biggest increases since 1990

West Virginians are going to have a tough time sending their kids to school.

If you go to Marshall University, your bill will go up 17 percent, 12 percent at Concord. Glenville and West Virginia University, 11 percent.

"You'll find that our tuition and fees are still low," Concord College President Jerry Beasley said.

Tuitions across America are rising faster than they have in 30 years.
