| William B. Burns, 78, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, formerly of
Grantsville, died
Wednesday, April 11. He was born in Grantsville, son of the late A. G.
and Nora Bower
Burns. He attended Ohio University and served in the U. S. Navy during
WW II as a
pilot.
Surviving, wife, Joan Burns; daughters, Penny Norris of Alabama;
Tracey Beirise of
North Carolina and Ginger Burns of Florida. Stepsons, Todd, Mark,
Michael, Joe and
Patrick Gabriel; sister, Mary Lee Elliott of Greensburg, Pennsylvania;
six
grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors at the Stump Funeral Home in
Grantsville from 6-8 p.m.
Tuesday. Interment will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery at a later
date. |
