Annetta Richardson, managing editor of The
Parkersburg News since
1994, has died,
after a long illness. She
was 40.
Richardson had worked for the newspaper since 1983.
She also served
as city editor and as bureau chief of the
newspaper's Marietta, Ohio,
edition.
The public best knew Richardson for her Sunday
columns, which often
made interesting reading out of a subject as simple
as taking her dog,
Sam, for a walk.
