SCHOOL SUPER'S CONTRACT ON BOARD AGENDA - Ox Johnson Has Proposal For Athletic Complex

The Calhoun County Board of Education will discuss a contract for school superintendent Ron Blankenship at a regular meeting Tuesday evening starting at 7 p.m. Ox Johnson will discuss a proposal for the athletic complex. The board will consider the Facility Use Policy, volunteer agreements, out of state conference requests, a contract with Straight Cut Lawn Care and a social studies textbook adoption. Personnel issues include retirement, job postings, recall from Reduction in Force, employment and the termination of a substitute custodian contract. Finances on the agenda include the FY2004-2005 Budget Hearing/Approval; Approve Levy Order; Invoices - $226,023.89; Supplements - $20,681.45; Transfer - $473,930.74 and a financial report for March 2004. The next board meeting is May 3 at 7 p.m.
