If you have never participated in the West Virginia Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program (BCCSP), or if you have in the past but have not maintained regular screenings, then take advantage of this special offer.

Between April 1 and June 29, every new patient who comes to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center and enrolls in BCCSP, and every patient who comes in for a BCCSP follow up, will receive a $10 Wal-Mart gift card. After your medical examination, you will be asked to complete a short BCCSP Patient Care Survey form. BCCSP will mail the free Wal-Mart gift card directly to your home.

BCCSP recently received funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to pilot a special initiative to increase the number of women participating in the program.

Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center is a longtime participant in BCCSP, and their trained staff will complete all of the enrollment paperwork for you. You may be able to get free or low-cost services if you do not have health insurance, or your health insurance does not cover breast and cervical cancer screenings, and if you meet the age and income guidelines.

BCCSP Age Guidelines
Mammograms - 50-64 years old
Pap tests, pelvic exams - 25-64 years old
Breast exams - 25-64 years old

BCCSP Income Guidelines:
