(04/10/2004)

Deputy Ron Bandy investigates collision

Rear window knocked out in Stevens vehicle

At least two people were taken to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center by Calhoun EMS for evaluation following a two vehicle collision on Phillip's Run yesterday evening at 5:45 p.m.

A truck driven by Kenneth Chennoweth of Ohio collided with a vehicle driven by Eugene Stevens of Grantsville near the mouth of Riffle Run, three miles south of Grantsville.

The truck was pulling an empty trailer.

Deputy Sheriff Ron Bandy said the accident appeared to be Stevens fault, although his investigation was not complete.

The Grantsville VFD responded to the accident.
