Lucille Smith, 92 - Parkersburg formerly of Newton

Lucille Smith, 92, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, formerly of Newton, WV, died Friday, April 9, in Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg.

She was born October 12, 1911, at Tariff, Roane County, a daughter of the late John Thomas and Mary Allen Boothe. She was a homemaker and a very devoted wife and mother. She was a member of the Crossroads United Methodist Church, Parkersburg.

Survivors include daughter, Nancy Frederick of Parkersburg; son, Jack H. Smith of Anderson, Indiana; one granddaughter, one grandson, and two step grandsons.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harley H. Smith; son, Dr. Paul H. Smith; sister, Anna Ferriot; one grandson, and one great grandson.

A funeral service will be conducted Monday, April 12, at 1 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, WV, with the Rev. John Frum officiating. Burial will be in the Smith Cemetery, Uler. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 4-8 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until time of service.
