Donna Jean Yoak Hardman, 60 - Formerly of Spencer

Donna Jean Yoak Hardman, 60, of Lanham, Maryland, formerly of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away March 29, 2004.

Born July 3, 1943 in Calhoun County, she was the daughter of E. Don and Lucretia Smith Yoak of Spencer. Donna will be remembered for her deep love of music and her faithful service to the Mowatt Methodist Church where she lightened the hearts of all who had the pleasure of hearing her sing and play the organ.

Surviving in addition to her parents are children, Courtney Ann Hardman of Lanham, Barry Von Perkins of Bowie, Maryland, and Larry Don Perkins of Palmetto, Florida; brother, Denzil Yoak of Warnersville OH; grandchildren, Erica, Sophia, Toni, and Trudy and great grandchildren, Lonnie and Cole. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 3, 2004 at Memorial United Methodist Church in Spencer. Rev. Beth Peters will officiate. Interment will be in the Eventide Cemetery, Spencer.

The family will receive friends at the church from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service, Saturday.

Stump Funeral Home of Arnoldsburg is in charge of arrangements.
