EMERGENCY SERVICES RESPOND TO SUNDAY CALLS

Emergency services had two calls Sunday.

Calhoun EMS and police responded to a pick-up truck accident between Leafbank and Cabot Station on Rt. 5 at 12:41 pm. No injuries were reported.

The Upper West Fork Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fire scene at 12:12 pm after a house was discovered burned to the ground.

The fire department said the house, located on the left fork of Mud Fork, apparently burned while the occupants were attending church.

Darrell Murphy was identified as the occupant.

Calhoun EMS has been busy over the weekend with ambulance runs.
