Maxine Nutter Husk, 78, of Little Hocking OH, formerly of Creston

Maxine Nutter Husk, 78, of Little Hocking passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at her residence.

She was born Sept. 5, 1925, in Creston, W.Va. She was the daughter of the late George and Ruth Boice Nutter. She was a homemaker and attended Faith Chapel Church in Coolville.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, James Husk, son of the late Everly and Belle Adams Husk of Hur; one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie (Douglas) Kemper of Monroeville, Ohio; two sons and daughters-in-law, James (Shirley) Nutter and Randy (Rena) Husk of Reedsville, Ohio; two brothers, Robert Nutter of Hockingport, Ohio, and Clay Nutter of Reedsville, Ohio; nine grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Florence Sheets and Margie Nutter, and a grandson, Timothy Garrity.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, with the Rev. Wilbert Lowe officiating. Burial will be in the Stewart Cemetery in Hockingport, Ohio. Friends and family may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
