A Clay County man arrested for allegedly having a meth lab in the trunk of his car a
few weeks ago has died. Twenty-five-year old Michael Thomas Butcher II, died Monday of an apparent overdose. State Police had nabbed Butcher in Clay, charging him with drug offenses. His body was discovered in a car. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 25, at Butcher Cemetery, Enoch. There will be no visitation. Carl Wilson Funeral Home, Clay, is in charge of arrangements.
