Kenneth E. Siers, 63 of Chloe, WV, died Monday, April 9 at his home
following a long illness.
Born in calhoun County he was the son of the late Leon and Freda
DeWeese Siers. He was a
US Army Veteran and was retired from the maintenance department of the
Calhoun County
Board of Education. He was a member of the Minnora IOOF Lodge #246 and
was a farmer.
Surviving Mr. Siers are his wife, Carol Siers and three brothers,
Donald Ray Siers and Tom
Siers both of Statesville, NC, and Rector Siers of Belpre, Ohio; seven
sisters, Mae Grimm of
Vienna, Mavis Hoover of Parkersburg, Gladys Moss and Annalee Walker
both of Statesville,
NC, Betty Junk of Eustace, Florida, Penny McCune and Ruth Cottrell of
Orville, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 at Stump Funeral Home,
Arnoldsburg. Rev. Leon
Strickland will officiate. Interment will be in the Minnora Cemetery,
Minnora. Friends may call at
the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
