YELLOW CREEK AND BARNES RUN WILL BE RE-PAVED - Slips Will Be Repaired

Calhoun will receive two paving projects this spring, according to the West Virginia Department of Highways.

The Barne's Run Road from Mt. Zion Church/Rt. 16 to the intersection of Dennis Fork, about 2.5 miles, will be repaved.

The Yellow Creek Road from Rt. 5 at Big Bend to Rt. 16 at Big Springs, about 9.0 miles, will also be repaved.

The contracts have been let.

The department has money to repair road slips on Grannyshe, Nicut and Route 5.

The Lemuel's Run (Bryner Road) and Big Root bridge projects have been completed.
