CALHOUN GIRLS WILL SING WITH ALL-STATE CHOIR

L to R: Victoria Lamont and Susan Sullivan CHS students Victoria Lamont and Susan Sullivan traveled to Ripley High School to audition for All-State Choir last week. The two performed All-State selections for judging, and both girls were accepted and will be going to All-State Choir. Vicki has participated the past three years, and this is Susan's first try. This year the All-State Choir will be practicing at Oglebay in Wheeling on March 24th and 25th and then performing on the 26th. They will be singing "Gloria" by Alan Hovhaness, "Happy We" by G.F. Handel, "Behold a Star" from Jacob Shining by Felix Mendelsson-Bartholdy, "Ain'a That Good News!" by William L. Dawson, among several other selections. Courtesy of Calhoun High School
