Oda F. Griffith, 87, of St. Marys, formerly Big Springs

Oda F. Griffith, 87, of St. Marys, W.Va., formerly of Pennsboro, departed this life Feb. 27, 2004. She was born April 30, 1916, at Big Springs, Calhoun County, W.Va., a daughter of the late William and Ida M. Snider Leeson. She had been employed by Ritchie County Schools as a foster grandparent and was a Methodist by faith. Survivors include two daughters and sons in law, Doris and Gary Bills and Deloris and Ronald Bierce, all of Greens Run Community, St. Marys; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home, Pennsboro, W.Va., with the Rev. John Strimer officiating. Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, St. Marys. Friends may call 4-8 Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
