WRITER'S GROUP VISITS HOTCHKISS HOME - For Those Interested In Writing

The Calhoun Writer's Guild met at the home of Ted and Sarah Hotchkiss on Cook's Run near Beech Road Friday evening, enjoying reading, writing and storytelling. The rural residence built by Ted and Sarah is on a hillside facing a wooded valley. The couple came to Calhoun over twenty years ago and have chosen to live the "simple life" without electricity. Sarah used her spacious kitchen to produce some outstanding snacks and deserts, as the group sat around the big table lit by kerosene lamps and candles. The group visited Sarah's studio to enjoy her artwork. Group has writing exercise by candlelight Delightful Hotchkiss kitchen Two recent works by Sarah Sarah welcomes group to her studio Attending the meeting, Mary Wildfire, Tom and Sue Kellam, Bob Weaver, Jim Mullooly and Ted and Sarah Hotchkiss. The Calhoun writer's group meets the first Friday of every month for those interested in writing.
