SCHOOL BOARD WILL APPROVE REDUCTIONS - Process Expulsion Case

The big issue tonight before the Calhoun County Board of Education is "Reduction in Force." The board is expected to eliminate ten employees, including teachers and other system employees. (See earlier story in Herald) The school board will also hear a student expulsion case. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. at the school board office. Other items on the agenda include: Volunteer Agreement Home School Request Field Experience Request - WVU-P Right of Way Deed - Richard and Barbara Whipkey Resignation/Retirement Job Postings Employment Transfers Probationary Contracts (2004-2005) Continuing Contracts (2004-2005) Finances The next meeting is March 1, 2004 at 7 p.m. at the Arnoldsburg School.
