Fire guts unoccupied mobile home near Russett

Grantsville firemen enter building structure

Natural gas ignites from burning structure

Mobile home was a total loss

Natural gas from the end of a supply line fueled a fire that completely destroyed a mobile home on Sycamore Road.

The residence was not occupied.

The Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department responded to the dwelling at 2 p.m. Thursday, a short distance from Russett.

Firemen were unable to determine the cause of the blaze which gutted the mobile home, located on the old Poling farm.

The owner of the mobile home is reportedly residing in Florida.
