| Grantsville's Town Council voted to appoint former Town Recorder Phyllis Maze to replace resigned recorder P. Jane Wease.
A number of residents had reportedly applied for the position.
Maze had resigned from the position which she held earlier under the former administration of Gary Knight.
At that time she moved out of state, but has since returned to the community.
Councilman Mike Wilson also resigned as a councilman.
The committee to build a new town hall will meet next week, with an account being set-up for contributions for a new facility. |
