RUSH SENT TO ANTHONY CENTER - Violated Probationary Agreement

(02/03/2004)
A Sand Ridge man who had been released on probation related to a sexual offense was sentenced yesterday by Judge Thomas C. Evans III.

Twenty-three-year old Brian Rush had been placed on probation for an earlier offense, with one of his probationary requirements not to have contact with a female under the age of 18.

Rush, according to Prosecutor Matt Minney, violated the conditions and was brought back to court.

Rush was sentenced to six months to two years at the Anthony Correctional Center.

Judge Evans heard arraignments against Christina Blake, Carolyn Summers and Bernard Smith, in addition to processing an indictment against Linda Hughes.
