MRS. RANDY SCHOONOVER RUNNING FOR HOUSE OF DELEGATES

Vicky Schoonover, a Clay County schoolteacher, is running as a Democrat in the 29th Delegate District (House of Delegates), which includes southern Clay County, all of Fayette County and a tiny part of Nicholas County. She is the wife of a former Clay County State Senator Randy Schoonover who resigned after pleading guilty to bribery charges. She has filed as "Mrs. Randy Schoonover." Sen. Randy Schoonover resigned in 1999. He pleaded guilty to bribery for accepting $2,725 to give Summersville businessman Rodney LeRose more towing business on the WV Turnpike.
