BAILEY ISSUES PLEA FOR MINNORA CENTER - "Together We Can Make It Work"

(02/02/2004)
Another plea for the Minnora Community Center has been issued by Acting President Kenny Bailey. Bailey says it is important to keep the center alive and in the community.

"Do you want a Community Center? Do you want a place to go for reunions, dances, classes, crafts, parties, meetings, or misc. events? " asks Bailey.

"Do you sit at home and complain because the Minnora Community Center is being run by a few people? Well, come out and change that! Give those people your input and ideas. Help them strive to keep this Community Center in our area."

Bailey says, "Your input is needed and so very important in order to keep it going."

"If things aren't being run to your satisfaction, get to the meeting and voice your opinion. Change things! Sure, it's being run a certain way, that's because these people are the only ones attending the meetings. It's a community center and it needs community support and input to survive. It needs you!" Bailey says the next scheduled meeting is on Monday, February 9th, at 6 p.m. upstairs at the Community Center. "Help us make our center a place to be enjoyed and shared by all. Together we can make it work," he concluded.
