Chloe resident Charles W. "Bill" Jarvis (Democrat) filed Wednesday as a candidate for Calhoun Commission. Unless others file, he will be facing incumbent Bob Weaver(Democrat) in the May primary. Jason Nettles (Democrat) and Gaylen Duskey (Republican) for Assessor Matthew Minney (Democrat) for Prosecutor Richard Kirby (Democrat) for County Clerk Carl Ballengee (Democrat); Jeff Smith (Democrat) and Charles McCroskey (Democrat) for Sheriff Shelia Garretson (Democrat) and Larry Robinson (Democrat) for Circuit Clerk Teresa Robinson (Democrat) and Rick Postalwait (Democrat) for Magistrate (two to be elected) Delegate Bill Stemple (Democrat) for House of Delegates Ralph Cunningham, Burl Simers, Sandra McCumbers and Larry Baker (non-partisan) for Board of Education (two to be elected) The deadline for filing is Saturday.
