Sarah Kingsbury Anderson, 94 - Bens Run

Sarah Kingsbury Anderson, 94, of Bens Run, passed away January 15, 2004 at Wetzel County Hospital, New Martinsville, WV, following a long illness. She was born in Arnoldsburg, a daughter of the late George J. and Matilda Lynch Kingsbury. She graduated from Calhoun High School in the class of 1931, and was a member of the Spencer Tabernacle Church. Surviving are two daughters, Hazeline Anderson of Spencer and Wilma Jean Monroe and her husband, Bill of Bens Run; four grandchildren, Vance Monroe of Middlebourne, WV, Patricia Wilson and Tammy Mosser of Bens Run and Eugina Lamb of Lakeland, Florida; four great grandchildren Maranda, Mitchell, Jennifer and Craig; one great-great granddaughter, Alexis. She was preceded in death by her husband, E.V. Anderson and four brothers, Jabez, Homer, Cleo and Rector Kingsbury and two sisters, Addie Parsons and Vera Smith. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 19 at 11 a.m. at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. Garry Bowen and Rev. Rick Metheney will officiate. Interment will be in the Gibson Cemetery at Arnoldsburg. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
