JUDGE NIBERT ARRAIGNS SIX

Judge David Nibert arraigned six individuals in Calhoun Circuit Court yesterday in Grantsville. Three other individuals made court appearances.

Sixty-seven-year-old Harold Lloyd Stutler of Creston was arraigned on one count of malicious assault and one count for the attempted murder of Creston resident Richard Starcher.

Matthew Verbus, 32, arraigned with nine counts of sexual abuse in the first degree.

John M. Richards, 39 of Grantsville, was arraigned on three counts of receiving stolen property.

John B. Shock, Jr. was arraigned for failure to register as a sexual offender.

Jeremy Collins, 21 of Grantsville, was arraigned on four counts forgery, four counts uttering.

Joshua Bohn, 21 of Grantsville, was arraigned on two counts sexual assault in the third degree.

John G. Arthur, 19 of Big Springs, was arraigned on one count grand larceny, one count breaking and entering an automobile, three counts breaking and entering, one count conspiracy to commit breaking and entering, one count petit larceny.

Also appearing in court, Sharon L. Smith, 50, of Big Bend, indicted on one count welfare fraud; John B. Shock, Jr. for failure to register as a sexual offender and Carl D. Groves, 19, of Munday, indicted on two counts of breaking and entering, one count conspiracy to commit breaking and entering
