A Shining Star goes to nine-year-old Lester King of Frozen Run. Lester has many accomplishments and achievements, a student with perfect attendance and a straight A record at Arnoldsburg School since kindergarten. His sister, Julie Ann Burrows, wrote "He has been though much since the death of his father....and has clocked 500 hours helping his mother Colleen, who is the janitor at the school." He has music, fitness, young writer and other "helping hands" awards. He is in grade three, Mrs. Westfall's class.
