HEAD-ON COLLISION SENDS ONE TO HOSPITAL - New Year's Day Accident

Compact car totaled in Henry's Fork collision Chevy truck sustains heavy damage A driver and his two passengers escaped serious injury when his Chevette compact car collided with a truck on Henry's Fork about 5 p.m. on New Year's Day. The driver of the car was identified as Aaron Lloyd, 17, of Jesse's Run. Lloyd and two male passengers received cuts, bruises and other minor injuries. Lloyd was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center for evaluation. The Lloyd vehicle was a total loss. Rowel's Run resident Gary L. Miller was apparently uninjured, but his truck was severely damaged. The accident occurred on the narrow blacktop road a short distance from a low-water bridge on the West Fork. Sr. Trooper Jeff Hunt investigated the accident. Calhoun EMS dispatched two ambulances to the scene. The Arnoldsburg VFD also responded.
