GLENVILLE POLICEMAN'S TRIAL DELAYED - Set For January 27 In Webster

(12/23/2003)
The trial of a former Glenville policemen Michael Kendall has been delayed.

Kendall was to go on trial in Webster Springs on January 6, 2004, but the date has been changed because of a conflict with his attorney.

The trail is scheduled for January 27, 2004.

Judge Jack Alsop moved the trial from Glenville because he felt Kendall could not get a fair trial.

Kendall is charged with one count of attempted manslaughter, three counts of wanton endangerment, three counts of kidnapping, among other charges.

The charges sprung from a high speed chase where he reportedly shot at a driver, then entered the home of the driver's parents.
