Bessie E. Husk, 97 - Jane Lew formerly of Grantsville

Bessie E. Husk, 97, life long resident of Grantsville, West Virginia, passed away December 15, 2003 at Crestview Manor Nursing Home, Jane Lew, WV. She was a daughter of the late John and Lelie Robinson Bower, born March 26, 1906. She married Dewey Husk on November 16, 1924 who preceded her in death in 1999. She is survived by three sons, Leander "Pete" Husk and companion Shirley of Parkersburg, WV, Charles E. Husk of Lake Villa, IL and Foster Husk and his wife, Linda of Grantsville; three daughters, Gertrude Welsh of Jane Lew, Madeline Lamp and companion, Clyde of Weston, WV, Sharon Titus and Frank of Jane Lew. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She attended Mt. Lebanon Church of Kenchloe, WV. She made her home with Sharon and Frank for seven years and spent the last year at Crestview Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville on Friday, December 19 at 10 a.m. Pastor Tim Hughes will officiate. Interment will be in Betts Cemetery, Grantsville. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
